In addition to the individual product guarantees, all of our products supplied to members of the general public are covered by our 14 day trial money back guarantee. If you are not happy with any product bought from MEDesign, simply return it to us in as new condition within 14 days of the date of receipt and we send you a full refund by return - please note that our money back guarantee does not apply to export orders.
Products: All product prices (and postage & packing) are shown both excluding and including UK VAT.
Bundle Offers, Voucher Codes or Coupons: Offers and discounts only apply where all products ordered as part of a discounted bundle or order are retained by the end user i.e. subsequently returning one or more products from a bundle or multi product order for refund will mean that any refund due will be adjusted to reflect the undiscounted mail order prices of the individual products in the bundle or order.
UK Delivery Charges: Delivery charges for one website order paid for by credit/debit card to one address in the UK Mainland:
Order value up to £30.00 : Carriage is charged at £5.40
Order value up to £87.00 : Carriage charged at £7.80
Order value over £87.00 : Carriage is free - some exceptions apply
(If the value of the original order falls below £87 due to a return then the original free delivery will be amended).
UK deliveries outside of the UK Mainland may incur additional costs. Any additional charge will always be advised before acceptance and processing of an order.
PSS & PSN MEDesign Patient Slider Products: Are not included in the free UK delivery offer and are subject to a postage and packing charge of £21.00 per delivery of up to 5 units within the UK mainland.
International Delivery Charges: We deliver worldwide and use one of a number of different carriers dependent on delivery cost, speed of delivery and overall service level. If you wish to order from overseas then the simplest method is to place an online order using the website. For destinations outside the UK a shipping cost is not shown (too many possibilities for our database). Once we receive the order we determine the most cost effective means of delivery and we then E-Mail you with details of the total cost including shipping. Once you confirm your agreement to the total cost we then process and despatch the order. We do not take payment until we receive your confirmation that you are happy to proceed. Export shipping charges quoted specifically exclude local taxes, duties or VAT that may charged by the local customs authorities in the destination country and which must be paid by the recipient before the goods can be released for final delivery.
Online: You can order online from any product page through our online shop. Cookies must be enabled in your web browser. NHS Trust, Councils, Social Services and Government Bodies: Government bodies e.g. NHS Trusts, Social Services, County Councils, Local Education Authorities etc... are automatically eligible for credit account facilities. All orders must be in writing (post, fax or E-Mail) and must quote an official purchase order number and full invoice and delivery address details. Carriage/handling at cost is chargeable for order values less than £200 (excl VAT).
We do not process any payment until the goods are ready for despatch.
Payment by cheque (£ sterling), postal order (payable to MEDesign Ltd), Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta and Solo are all very acceptable.
For credit cards please quote the cardholders full name and address, card number, expiry date, 3 digit security code from the rear signature strip of the card and the issue number (if paying by Switch).
Foreign currency payments by credit card will be converted using the exchange rates published in the London Financial Times on the day of the transaction.
Goods returned within 14 days of receipt in original packaging and in as new, fully resaleable condition will be refunded or exchanged upon receipt by us. Please note that our money back guarantee specifically excludes export orders from overseas customers. Return standard delivery charges will only by refunded when the goods have been supplied wrongly or are damaged or faulty. Any apparent damage to the packaging or contents must be signed for as damaged box.
Normally within 24 hours of receipt of order (Monday - Friday). Most deliveries within the UK mainland are by
Parcelforce, an independent courier.
Parcelforce's service is very reliable and your order should arrive within 2-3 days of despatch. It is often quicker (but don't quote us!) and, to leave a margin of error, please allow 5 working days before chasing us up. Express delivery is available but the costs are high. Please contact us for up-to-date prices.
Smaller parcels, spare part orders and deliveries to highland or offshore destinations will normally be by alternative courier options such as Hermes or Royal Mail.
Your parcels need a signature on delivery - for security reasons. If you are out during the day, please give a delivery address where someone can sign for your parcel (a works address or a willing neighbour are good options). If you provide a valid mobile number or email address at the time of placing your order then most couriers will text and email the tracking details for your parcel consignment so you keep an eye on the progress of your delivery.
For overseas deliveries we use one of a number of carriers depending on the particular country - our aim being to get the lowest cost and fastest delivery.
Value Added Tax (VAT)Prices on the website are shown both excluding and including UK Value Added Tax (VAT) at 20%.
UK VAT does not apply to export orders being sent outside the UK to overseas countries.
There may be local taxes or duties payable on export orders that are exempt from UK VAT.
CE and UKCA Mark and Product DevelopmentThe CE mark means that the product is a medical device registered with the Medical Devices Agency and conforming to the requirements of the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC.
The UKCA mark means that the product is a medical device registered with the MHRA and confirming to the provisions of Part II of the UK MDR 2002, Annex IX (as modified by Part II of Schedule 2A to the UK MDR 2002).
